Lonnie Gatlin is an award winning photographer with more than 40 years of photography experience. Professionally, she has served as photojournalist, bio-medical photographer, writer, sports journalist and assistant broadcast news director in the St. Louis, MO area. 

Some of the organizations recognizing Lonnie’s photography and multi-media work include the International Dark Sky Association, International Photography Hall of Fame, American Red Cross, St. Louis Community College, and United Way. 

Her work has been featured in galleries throughout the St. Louis area, including Artisans in THE LOOP, H-art and Soul Gallery, Grafica Fine Art & Custom Framing, Green Root Gallery, Soulard Art Gallery, Webster Groves Public Library, Union Avenue Christian Church, among others.

Today, Lonnie is best known for her astro-landscapes, featuring the Milky Way. She also teaches astro-photography for Missouri Botanical Garden at Shaw Nature Reserve and is a resident artist in Elysian Gallery + Café at 419 East Broadway, Alton, IL .
